“I’m so happy to see you guys making onion dip again!” said my wife.
“This is my favorite dip, and I’ve made it for years!”
“This recipe has everything you need to make it, and the ingredients are so easy to prepare,” said my brother-in-law, who is my boyfriend.
“I’ve had a hard time getting a good recipe for it in the past, but I promise you, it’ll be worth it!”
“I am going to have to make some onion dip right now, I’m starving,” I told my boyfriend and my sister-in oncologist.
We made some of our own onion dip for dinner, and then decided to give it a go for lunch.
I used canned tomato paste for the sauce, but canned red onion would also be great.
I also had to adjust the amount of soy sauce in the sauce to get it to taste like onion dip.
But the biggest difference between this recipe and the original was the addition of garlic powder, which I had to add to the recipe because of the spicy nature of the sauce.
I’ll definitely be making this again!
