How to cook bacon and chili mustard onions

It’s a classic recipe that is very popular and can easily be adapted to make other types of onions. 

Bacon onions are the most common type of onion in the US and can be found in many supermarkets.

For the onion strings, you will need to cut the onion into 1/4 inch slices and then add the strings to the pan and fry for about 10 minutes on each side until golden brown. 

To make chili mustard, you just need to boil the onion and mustard together in a small saucepan until they become soft. 

The bacon onion jams are easy to make using the same ingredients.

You will need two strips of bacon and about an inch of onion.

Place a lid on a large saucepan, add a few drops of vinegar, and add about one tablespoon of mustard seeds.

Let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Add about an ounce of the bacon and onion and bring it to a boil.

Cook on low for about 30 seconds.

Remove the bacon from the heat and pour the sauce over the bacon. Enjoy!
